It's a strange, uncertain world at the moment and I hope you are keeping safe and well. I wanted to let you know that it's still business as usual at fizzi~jayne.
Online businesses can continue operating at the moment. I am still sending out orders and processing them within 3 working days. (My full shipping policy can be seen here).
When will I receive my order?
I use Royal Mail to deliver your orders and they are currently processing mail as usual and have contingency plans in place. However, I have noticed there are some delays but this can't be helped during these circumstances, so please allow extra time for your order to arrive.
The statement on their website says, “We have extensive experience in being able to quickly deploy business contingency plans so we continue to provide customers with access to our services and their mail”.
I've made one further change since the additional measures the UK Government put in place on 23rd March. From now on I will not be going to the Post Office to drop off orders. I already buy my postage online from Royal Mail so I can avoid the Post Office and instead I will post what I can in the post box at the end of our road. For most orders there will not be a change to service, I just won’t be able to get a Proof of Postage.
For mugs and large orders that won’t fit in a post box I will need to go to the sorting office which is a hatch window so I will be able to stay outside. However, I will limit these trips so please allow the full 3 working days for me to post these orders.
I have also removed tracking options from purchases as these would need to be taken to the Post Office.
These measures will allow me to keep my social distance, limit my time outside of the house and keep within the government guidelines which are keeping us safe.
Orders sent outside of the UK
I am sorry I have suspended orders being sent outside of the UK. There are severe delays due to many authorities applying special measures within their working practices to minimise the spread of the virus. At the moment I don't know how long it will take to be delivered, if it arrived at all.
I will keep an eye on the situation and will start shipping worldwide as soon as I can.
As an alternative to sending a gift, you can buy someone a digital gift card which are available here.
Are you worried about receiving parcels?
I’ve always been a compulsive hand washer and always wash my hands with soap before starting work. I also use anti-viral wipes to clean my desk and computer. My main concern is the health & safety of my customers as well as my own well-being and I’m doing what I can to keep my hands and working environment clean.
The latest on the Royal Mail website says “Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels”.

I want to help you stay connected with your family and friends. All cards and gifts can be sent directly to the recipient with a handwritten message.
Select the option of where to send your order on the product page. Then add the message when prompted before adding to basket. Your card/gift will be sent to the shipping address you provide.
